Calm Place to Sit and Relax...
Nice little pool in the backyard
I visited this hotel in March 2010 and really enjoyed the time there. Getting to Hotel Casa Antigua was really easy to me because the address could not be easier, there is no way to get lost, as easy as driving straight east for a couple of minutes from the Juan Santamaria's International Airport.
I talked for some hours with one of the person that run the hotel, Debbie, she was very attentive with my questions, comments and concerns. Regarding the place I really like the way it is decorated, wood, trees, flowers, rugs and a nice little pool in the middle of the backyard make me feel relaxed.
I have been to many places in Costa Rica but Hotel Casa Antigua has its own style. Near there are various places to look for car rentals and food, but I recommend you to eat in their Restaurant, the call it 'Mil y una noches' (thousand nights).
I tasted their meat recipes and was absolutely delicious, having the restaurant so close is really a plus for this spot.
Besides the accommodation, breakfast and restaurant, they also help you to arrange tours, free calls, taxi pick up, etc, Debbie is there mostly in the afternoon but most the time you may see Henry, he is great guy and talking to him let you feel that having the hotel is like the nick name for 'HOME'.
I feel very glad to have visited Hotel Casa Antigua, now is your turn.
